A useful news alert tells readers what an article covers and where to read it. It leaves room for the context, qualifications, and source material that belong in the article itself.
Our optional SMS program includes political news alerts and notifications when a new article or blog post is available. Based on selected interests, messages may also report on fundraising efforts by political parties or candidates. Readers can select a party interest or choose broad political coverage.
Texts identify Genuine SC and include opt-out instructions. The alert is an invitation to read; it does not ask for money or promote campaign services. SMS delivery has not started, so these messages remain illustrative examples.
